The Horizon FD87 hull seven completes sea-trials
Horizon Yacht’s brand new FD87 Skyline luxury yacht design has been wildly successful since it was first introduced to the world early this year, as reflected in the numerous magazine articles and covers in global yachting magazines.
During her sea trial, Hull Seven performed extremely well to the satisfaction of her owner, who was also very impressed with the high quality finish of the hull and her Stone Gray metallic paint. The owner specified this hull color to match his vision for the yacht, and the end result is absolutely beautiful; the Stone Gray hull color is not only unique but also elegant. This is one of many examples of Horizon’s commitment to our clients – “you dream, we deliver!”
This FD87 Skyline Hull Seven is the first model with the enclosed bridge and walk-around bridge deck design. The FD series has made quite an impact in the global market with an excellent sales record since her introduction two years ago. Clients around the globe have taken to the FD87 Skyline enclosed bridge version and the FD85 raised pilothouse version, which both provide an amazing amount of interior volume as well as the versatile and innovative Fast Displacement Hull Form. The true testament to the popularity of the FD design are the deliveries to date in Asia, Europe, Australia and the US, reflecting our owner’s and client’s trust in Horizon’s brand and customized construction ability.
Horizon currently has several new FD designs in build. The owner-operator FD77 design is due March 2019, and the highly anticipated Horizon FD102 superyacht is due for the Horizon Yachts Open House early in 2020. We are confident that the tremendous success of Horizon’s FD series will continue to attract the attention of many global superyacht enthusiasts.
