Horizon Yachts’s Display at SCIBS 2019
Horizon Yachts is preparing to make a bold statement at the signature yacht show for the Australian market. The brand-new Horizon FD77 Skyline motor yacht will debut at the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show (SCIBS) on May 23rd-26th, alongside two ever-popular Horizon E75, a fully refurbished E73 motor yachts and the new RP110 - the largest Horizon yacht to hit Australian shores.
Following the world debut of its Open Bridge sistership at the 2019 Palm Beach Boat Show, the new FD77 Skyline is the first FD77 to feature an enclosed bridge configuration. Contemporary styling, a well-planned layout, and expansive interior and exterior entertaining areas are at the heart of this latest design in the Fast Displacement Series from Cor D. Rover and Horizon Yachts. Incorporating the same sought-after features that characterize the FD Series, such as large sections of floor-to-ceiling windows, an expansive 22'8" beam, and a striking exterior profile that presides atop Horizon's High Performance Piercing Bow (HPPB) hull design, the compact FD77 has been purposely designed for owner operation.
The FD77 Skyline offers four staterooms, including a spacious on-deck master ensuite - with large windows that bring copious natural light into the interior. Three additional guest staterooms are found below deck - one VIP cabin at the bow, one large guest cabin amidships, and a twin cabin.
The enclosed skylounge features a day-head and a relaxed dinette area with low coffee tables. Doors to port and starboard provide access to the walkaround side decks. The incorporation of a walkaround design on the bridge deck brings tremendous flexibility to the enclosed skylounge, aft boat deck, and forward entertaining area, and allows guests to transition between the spaces with ease. Aft, the boat deck is designed for entertainment and offers a bar and grill area just beyond the skylounge as well as a settee and space for the tender.
Unique for a 77ft yacht, the FD77 Skyline features an innovative beach club, situated just aft of the Hi/Lo swim platform. This functional area is an inviting space for enjoying cocktail hour, soaking up the sun, or simply relaxing on the water.
A highlight for Horizon Yacht Australia (HYA) at SCIBS will be the arrival of the largest Horizon ever to grace the Australian coastline. With a LOA of 121’10”, the new Horizon RP110 is the third Horizon built for her Australian owner. The custom yacht is equipped with twin MTU V16 2600hp engines, the latest state-of-the-art Black Box Furuno navigation package, OctoPlex system, upgraded 440/20X stabilizers, Yacht Controller, and a retractable hydraulic sunroof. Beneath the waterline, Horizon fitted nearly 30 blue underwater lights around the entire vessel, which create a mesmerizing glow when lighting up the deep navy blue hull at night.
Showing alongside these impressive luxury yachts will be two sporty and spacious Horizon E75 motor yachts. An evolution in design, the Horizon E75 has shown to be one of HYA’s most popular models on the market. Within an 18’6” beam, her interior features increased volume and numerous lounging areas. Entertaining with family and friends is a pleasure thanks to the E75’s creative foredeck seating area, an exterior bar on the boat deck, and incredible aft deck offering luxurious, shaded relaxation. This is a yacht that defies size perception and provides the amenities and space of a far larger yacht within a stylish profile.
