The New RP110 Shines in Mallorca

Hull Four of the stylish RP110 series is shining in Mallorca at the beginning of the cruising season. One of the Horizon’s larger yacht series, the RP (Raised Pilothouse) Series ranges from 97 to 120 feet in length and is known for its elegant styling and seaworthy performance.

Boasting attractive exterior styling by J.C. Espinosa, the streamlined profile of the RP110 sits atop a double chine, high-performance hull developed in collaboration between Donald L. Blount & Associates and Horizon’s in-house naval architecture team. This innovative hull design affords a shallow draft while minimizing drag at slower speeds and enhancing hydrodynamic stability at higher speeds.

Designed to suit the European market with a relaxed yet sophisticated, modern beach house décor, the new RP110 features a spacious, functional and flexible five-stateroom layout that takes advantage of the yacht’s 25ft beam. The master stateroom is situated on deck along with the main salon, formal dining area, and portside galley, while two mirrored queen-size VIP staterooms and two twin guest staterooms reside on the lower deck.

Also known for its plentiful and well-planned exterior areas, the RP110 offers several al fresco dining options as well as a foredeck lounging area that can be shaded with a foldable bimini top. The RP110 also features a hydraulic tender garage with a hi/lo swim platform that doubles as a spacious beach club.

Powered by twin CAT 32A 1900HP engines, the new RP110 cruises at 18 knots and achieves 21 knots at half load; she is also equipped with zero speed stabilizers, twin Onan 50kW generators, bow and stern thrusters, a frequency converter, custom navigational system, and many more innovative features.
