Sold | Horizon V68 Hull 4
The fourth hull of the Jonathan Quinn Barnett-designed V68 model has been sold in America in a conjunction deal.
Designed from bow to stern to incorporate every amenity desired aboard a large, long-range yacht but tailored for effortless owner operation, the stylish Horizon V68 is the result of a long collaboration between the yard and JQB. Distinguished by a plumb bow and wide beam, the latest V68 will be configured with a three-cabin layout with a midship master suite, VIP in the bow and convertible twin on the starboard side.
On the main deck, the design emphasizes unobstructed views to enhance the feeling of spaciousness with an open salon that flows into a large joined galley and country kitchen. A folding glass door augments the indoor/outdoor experience between the main salon and aft deck. Heated floors are among the many amenities fitted into the country kitchen-style galley, and detailed woodworking is found throughout.
Offering plentiful exterior space, the V68 features an open flybridge equipped with a day head, seating and wet bar, and twin helm chairs. In place of the seating area on the foredeck, the new owners specified a fabulous custom storage area encompassing an 285.6ft³ space. But it is the V68’s beach club that gains the most attention – an innovative feature for a yacht of this size that answers the rhetorical question: “Why go bigger when you have everything you need right here?”
The V68 is the third model in Horizon’s V Series, which includes a V72 and V80. Equipped with twin CAT C18s of 1,150mhp each, the V68 tops out at 25 knots and cruises comfortably at 20 knots. Hull Four is now under construction and is on schedule to deliver to her owners in this September. For more information please contact This email address is being protected from spambots.
